Peterborough United entertain Doncaster Rovers in Sky Bet League One action at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm) with Luke Williams' side looking to build on Tuesday night's Carabao Cup third round success.
Doncaster are without a league win in their opening six league games are currently bottom of the table with three points. Posh go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Milton Keynes Dons in their last league fixture, while Rovers were beaten 1-0 by AFC Wimbledon.

Posh are without the services of Declan Frith, Rio Adebisi, Vernon Masara, Sam Hughes, Matt Garbett and Tom O'Connor, but Ben Woods and Carl Johnston both trained on Thursday and have a 'chance' of being available for selection. James Dornelly missed the midweek penalty shoot-out victory over Barnsley and remains a doubt.
Doncaster are without Jamie Sterry, Tom Nixon, Francis Okoronkwo and James Collins due to injuries while Matty Pearson is a doubt after coming off early in the game with AFC Wimbledon.
ONE TO WATCH
Alfie May
Alfie May (pictured below) returned to Rovers on a season-long loan from Huddersfield Town in June 2026. May started his career with Millwall before playing in non-league with a number of clubs, including Bromley, Billericay Town and Farnborough.
Rovers recognised his potential and signed him in January 2017. He helped the club earn promotion from Sky Bet League Two that season and scored 23 goals during his three years with Rovers. May went on to enjoy prolific spells with Cheltenham Town and Charlton Athletic, winning the Sky Bet League One Golden Boot with 23 goals for the latter.
He then joined Birmingham City, scoring 16 goals as they set a new League One points record in 2024/25, before moving to Huddersfield Town. May scored seven goals during his first season with the Terriers before returning to Rovers for the 2026/27 campaign.
