Posh bring the 2025-2026 Sky Bet League One season to a close with a home game with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Peterborough United welcome Grant McCann's Doncaster Rovers to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm) for the final Sky Bet League One game of the campaign.
Both sides are safe from the drop with Posh securing their safety on Tuesday night with a hard-fought point against Mansfield Town.
TEAM NEWS
Manager Luke Williams confirmed in his pre-match press conference that his starting line-up won't include too many changes, but Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Peter Kioso will return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan spells. Archie Collins is set to depart in the summer and if selected, will feature in his final game for the club.
Sam Hughes, Rio Adebisi and Carl Johnston won't feature due to injury. Doncaster could include a number of youngsters in their starting line-up with a host of players made available for transfer this week.
ONE TO WATCH
Bayley McCann
Bayley McCann (pictured below) is the son of manager Grant and was part of the Posh Academy earlier in his career. He had a spell with Barnsley, which included a loan stint with Alfreton, before joining Doncaster Rovers where he has been part of the first team squad in recent weeks. Like his Dad, he has an excellent left-foot, but plays wider, sometimes as a left-back and sometimes further forward down the left flank.
MANAGER QUOTES
""We want to finish the season with a performance that the fans enjoy because over the last few months, it is fair to say there have not been too many occasions where that has happened. Hopefully, with the pressure off, we can play free-flowing football and provide some entertainment. I want to thank the loan players for their contributions. Jimmy-Jay Morgan has scored a lot of goals; he has been a pleasure to work with, and I hope he goes on to have an excellent career. Peter Kioso has played in a couple of positions and has put his body on the line, and when he has played as a centre back, he has often done so with different partners," Luke Williams said.
TICKET NEWS
Doncaster Rovers have sold out their allocation and will be accommodated in the away section of the Kings Power Solutions Stand. The GH Display Stand is open for Posh fans. Tickets can be purchased at www.theposhtickets.com and via the Weston Homes Stadium Box Office.
