A look ahead to Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash at the Weston Homes Stadium against Bolton Wanderers (3pm).
Peterborough United welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon in Sky Bet League One action (3pm) with Luke Williams' side looking to bounce back from a first league defeat since November at Lincoln City on Sunday.
Despite a positive first 30 minutes to the contest at the LNER Stadium, Posh lost 5-2 to the promotion contenders and will be hoping to get on track when they entertain the Trotters.
Bolton were held to a goalless draw by Northampton Town at the Toughsheet Community Stadium last time out, the third game in a row they have failed to collect maximum points.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are without the services of Sam Hughes, Harley Mills, David Okagbue, Rio Adebisi and Ben Woods for the clash with Bolton, but Jimmy-Jay Morgan should be added to the squad after missing the last couple of games.
Gustav Lindgren is rated as a doubtful after picking up a slight muscle injury in the warm-up ahead of the game with the Imps.
John McAtee is a long-term absentee for the visitors who may look to make changes to their XI with several players pushing for starts.
ONE TO WATCH
Amario Cozier-Duberry
Wanderers brought the winger back to the North-West when he joined the Whites on a season-long loan from Brighton in July, 2025.
The 20-year-old had spent the previous campaign on loan at Blackburn Rovers and helped the Ewood Park outfit mount a Championship play-off challenge which fell just short.
The exciting wideman started his career with Arsenal, playing in the EFL Trophy for the Gunners’ U21s and reaching the final of the 2023 FA Youth Cup in a side containing current Arsenal first-teamers Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri.
MANAGER QUOTES
"Bolton are a strong side, they are a team that I would expect to be challenging at the top end of the table. We are going to have to accept that we might not have as much of the ball as we would like because they are a good possession-based side, we will have to defend our box well, but if we can do that, we can cause them problems too. We want to bounce back from the defeat to Lincoln, we have worked on a few things this week following that game," Luke Williams said.
