Posh Under 21s welcome Queens Park Rangers to the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Wednesday afternoon (1pm).

The Peterborough United Under 21s will look to build on the opening day victory at Bristol City when they welcome Queens Park Rangers to the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Wednesday afternoon (1pm).

Sam Gaughran's side secured all three points in their first Professional Development League fixture of the campaign thanks to goals from Chris Conn-Clarke and Jacob Wakeling. 

TEAM NEWS

It is likely that Conn-Clarke will be involved against the Hoops while Wakeling and Ryan De Havilland and could also feature while Declan Frith might get minutes too. 

MANAGER QUOTES

"QPR were strong in the game we played against them last season and they, like ourselves, may have a number of first team players involved, so we will see how we get on, but certainly on the opening day, those that came down from the first team acquitted themselves well on the game," Lead Under 21 Coach Sam Gaughran said.

OPPOSITION

QPR suffered an opening day defeat at the hands of Coventry City after a pulsating encounter in the capital. The Sky Blues secured al three points after a 4-3 victory.
