The Posh Under 21s welcome Cardiff City to the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (1pm).
The Peterborough United Under 21s will look to protect their unbeaten start when they entertain Cardiff City Under 21s at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (1pm).
Sam Gaughran's side picked up three points on the road last time out at AFC Bournemouth thanks to a late Joe Davies strike sit fifth in the fledgling table with the Bluebirds down in 10th.
TEAM NEWS
With the first team in action in the Vertu Trophy on Tuesday night and the transfer deadline day concluding at 7pm, working on who will be involved for the 21s aside from the usual group is hard to predict.
Joe Andrews skippered the team last time out while Lucca Mendonca was also involved in the XI. Andre Changunda is expected to be unavailable with a hamstring injury.
FROM THE MANAGER
"Cardiff always produce a lot of good young players, if you look at their first team group now, a lot of them featured against us last season at this age group. It will be a tough game, but to be honest, I don't think many games will be as tough as the one at Bournemouth last week. We have had a good start to the season and we want to keep that going, but there is no point dwelling on previous games, we have to focus on what is in front of us," Sam Gaughran said.
OPPOSITION
Cardiff were beaten 2-1 in their last fixture but also recorded an emphatic 3-0 win on the road at Crewe Alexandra, so they have had a mixed bag of results so far.
