A look ahead of the Under 18s fixture with Charlton Athletic at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground (12pm) on Saturday.
The Peterborough United Under 18s are back in Professional Development League action on Saturday afternoon (12pm) as Charlton Athletic visit the Bespoke Builds Training Ground.
Under 18s Lead Coach Jimmy Unwin felt there were positives to take from the opening day defeat against Brentford, but will be looking to iron out the mistakes that ultimately cost his side in the capital.
TEAM NEWS
It is likely to be a similar squad on duty for the game with Charlton Athletic that was named for the game with Brentford with striker Bolu Shofowoke, fresh from coming on as a late substitute for the first team at Accrington Stanley in midweek, expected to lead the line.
FROM THE MANAGER
"it will be a good physical test for us against a side that produce a lot of talented young footballers. I am looking to see a little more bravery from us, courage to get on the ball in moments and obviously we know that we have to show more resilience at the other end of the pitch. We need to be stronger in certain moments," Lead Under 18s Coach Jimmy Unwin.
OPPOSITION
The Addicks began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic and will be looking to build on their eighth place in the table last season.
