Posh face The Robins in a Professional Development League fixture on Tuesday afternoon.

Peterborough United U21s will welcome Bristol City U21s to the idverde Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (2pm) in a Professional Development League fixture.

Posh return to action after a 10-day break from league football where they narrowly fell to a 4-3 defeat to Watford U21s in their previous fixture, with Charlie O’Connell, Gabe Overton and Harley Mills netting for Posh.

The Robins picked up their first victory of the league campaign earlier this month after beating Wigan Athletic 2-1 at Robins High Performance Centre. They are currently sat ninth in the table, competing in the Southern Region.

The two sides have already met this season as The Robins ran out 4-3 winners in the opening game of the group stage phase of the Premier League Cup. Overton and Kai Corbett gave Posh a 2-0 advantage inside 20 minutes, but were pegged back to 2-2 at the break. The hosts took the lead before Posh found themselves down to 10-men, however, Harry Titchmarsh brought the scores level until a goal deep in injury-time for The Robins sealed the victory.

The game is available for supporters to watch at the idverde Training Ground. Updates of the game will be provided on The Posh Academy X account (@theposhacademy).
