Posh U21s face The Tigers on Monday evening.

Peterborough United U21s travel to Dransfield Stadium, the home of North Ferriby FC, on Monday evening (7pm) as they face Hull City U21s in the Professional Development League.

The under 21s are currently fifth in the table and are unbeaten in their last three games, most recently, securing an impressive 3-2 win over a former Category One academy side Birmingham City U21s last Tuesday.

A similar squad that faced The Blues at the idverde Training Ground last week is expected for the trip to Dransfield Stadium this evening. U21s boss Matthew Etherington has been pleased with the recent performances, but is expecting a tough game against The Tigers this evening.

Etherington said: “The performances have been good lately, we are picking up results and points, which has been a by-product of the performances, and that has been extremely positive. Now, it’s just about continuing to perform well, that’s the biggest thing for me. The players seem to be in a really good place and they’re together.

“When we played Hull City last year, they were a good, technical side and have some great players, with a good history of players progressing through their academy and going on to play for the first-team football. They have always been difficult games whenever we have faced them and I’m expecting no different this evening.”

The Tigers currently sit eighth in the league, two points behind Posh, and fell to a 3-2 defeat against Crewe Alexandra U21s in their last game.

The game gets underway at 7pm and updates will be available club’s official Twitter account.
