Posh U18s back in league action on Saturday morning,

Peterborough United U18s return to Under-18 Professional Development League action on Saturday morning (11am) as they travel to Florence Park to face Colchester United U18s.

It will be the second game between the two sides in the last week after Posh secured a narrow 1-0 victory over The U’s on Tuesday morning to claim their place in the final of the Under-18 Professional Development League Cup.

The victory saw the under 18s extend their winning run to eight games in all competitions and will be searching for their sixth consecutive win in the league, but manager Jamal Campbell-Ryce is expecting another tough game against The U's on Saturday.

“I said to the players earlier in the week that this could be the toughest game of the season because we played them on Tuesday and won the game, so they will want revenge for that. They will go into the game knowing our strongest areas and they might change their own game plan.

“However, nothing changes for us and we will go into the game with the exact same mindset, work harder than them and play our own football. I’m sure if we can do that, then the result will take care of itself. But, I really want the players to stay humble and keep their feet on the ground,” Campbell-Ryce said.

Updates of the game will be provided as much as possible on The Posh Academy Twitter account (@theposhacademy).
