A number of Posh players are now away on international duty after receiving call-ups in the last few weeks.
Peterborough United defender David Okagbue is now away with the Republic of Ireland Under 21s as they prepare for three Euro Under 21 qualifiers against Slovakia, Kazakhstan and England.
Jim Crawford’s team face Slovakia in Koisce on Friday, September 25th before returning to Cork for a double-header in the Munster FA Turners Cross Stadium. They’ll take on Kazakhstan on Tuesday, September 29th before the visit of England a week later on Tuesday, October 6th.
Fellow defender Josh Feeney has been named in the Scotland Under 21 squad for two upcoming games. Scotland host Azerbaijan in Kilmarnock for the first time since 2008 on 30th September, before travelling to Bulgaria to conclude the campaign at Georgi Benkovski Stadium in Pazardijk on 6th October.
With just two games remaining in the campaign, Scotland will be looking to end Group B on a high, with a slim chance of qualification still alive, and seedings for further competitions to play for.
Youngster Patryk Sykut has once again been named in the Ukraine Under 19 squad for an upcoming tournament in Spain. Sykut, who impressed in the Euro's in Wales during the summer, will be in the squad for games against Sweden, Germany and Scotland.
Winger Vernon Masara has been called up to the Zimbabwe U23 squad to face Mauritius in the AFCON Olympics qualifiers. Masara has just recovered from injury and a decision will be made if he is able to link up with his country in the next few days.
Centre back George Nevett, who is currently on-loan at Tranmere Rovers, has been named in the Wales Under 21 squad for the final UEFA U21 EURO 2027 qualifiers against Belgium and Austria.
Wales will travel to Westerlo to face Belgium on Tuesday 29th September (KO 7pm BST) before hosting Austria at the Oval in Caernarfon a week later on Tuesday 6th October (KO 5:30pm) Both matches will be shown live on Sgorio.
