Posh will travel to either Accrington Stanley or Oldham Athletic in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
Accrington and Oldham have been drawn together in the prelimimary round of the competition, so Posh will have to wait to find out their opponents.
The first round ties are set to be played week commencing 11th August. Details of ticketing arrangements for the game will be announced in due course.
