We are delighted to announce that the Ticket Fund created by the Club and Free Kicks Foundation has been a fantastic success. The Club would like to thank all our supporters who have contributed to the fund which has raised over £5,000.
32 families, totalling 110 Posh fans will be travelling to Wembley for Sunday’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy Final thanks to the fund. 96 of those supporters will be provided with coach travel to London from the Weston Homes Stadium.
One lucky group have benefited from Club Wembley tickets provided by Free Kicks Foundation and another family, pictured above, will be experiencing the cup final in style in an Executive Box donated to the foundation.
Head of Media & Marketing at Peterborough United Clive Edwards said “When Free Kicks Foundation approached us about this idea, we were very excited to be able to support the initiative. It has been a fantastic effort by all our supporters to either contribute financially or spread the word about the fund. We couldn’t have raised such a fantastic amount and given so many people the chance to visit the national stadium without our supporters truly getting behind the idea. The whole Peterborough United family have shown how committed we all are to making this a family orientated, inclusive football club”.
