Peterborough United Foundation have continued to improve the lives in and around our local community throughout June and are gearing up for another fun filled summer of Kellogg's Football Camps, due to begin at the end of July.
Football Camps will take place every weekday between Monday 28th July and Friday 29th August 2025 (9am – 3pm) at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground. This summer, we're teaming up with Kellogg's, once again, to offer FREE places to those who book with a unique promo code that can be found on the packaging of selected Kellogg's cereals.
The Foundation also held their Football & Education End of Season Awards Night, celebrating the efforts of the players on our Football & Education programme over the last year, in partnership with Nene Park Academy. The event was a huge success, with a full room of over 150 people in attendance to celebrate the successes of their 2024/25 Boys and Girls programmes.

In addition to our FEP Awards Night, we also hosted a JPL Awards Night, where we focused on the successes of our Junior Premier League Under 15 and Under 16 squads. Both squads enjoyed great seasons with the Under 15's winning their league, whilst their Under 16's won the Easter Open on tour in Holland. Both squads and their families joined together for an evening of celebration.
Elsewhere, Peterborough City Council hosted a Carers Event, where charities and organisations came together to promote their services for those in need - the Posh Foundation were delighted to be one of those organisations at the event. Community Manager, Emily Purbrick, and Apprentice Community Co-Ordinator, Abbie Smith, spent the morning speaking to visitors about the services the Foundation provide in health & well-being and handing out flyers to promote their sessions.

The Foundation were excited to welcome a very special guest to one of their Mindful Motion sessions this month as Peterborough United mascot, Peter Burrow, came along to surprise their participants. With the considerable increase in temperatures, the Posh Foundation acknowledged the need for their participants to exercise safely, whether at their sessions or in their own time. With this in mind, Peter Burrow was on hand to donate a water bottle each to their Mindful Motion members.
Peterborough City Council, Integrated Neighbourhoods and the Peterborough United Foundation, have also teamed up to offer FREE Health & Well-being Sessions designed especially for unpaid carers. The Foundation understand how easy it is to put your own health on the back-burner when someone else relies on you. These sessions are all about helping you feel your best, connect with others, and access the support you need. Their sessions run every Monday, 11:30am - 1pm at South Grove Community Centre. If you'd be interested in attending the group, please email community@theposh.com.
In addition, the Posh Foundation are proud to be continuing to offer sensory packs at the Weston Homes Stadium for Peterborough United First Team matches, moving into the 2025/26 season. These packs are designed to make the Matchday environment more enjoyable and inclusive for all.
Each pack will include:
- Soft stress ball
- Pop-it toy
- Ear defenders
- Light-up ball
- Colouring book and pencils
The packs will be available free of charge to season ticket holders with additional needs and can be requested by emailing community@theposh.com.

Coming up in July, the Peterborough United Foundation are hosting trials for their 2025/26 Boys and Girls Elite and Development Centres. For more information regarding trials, please email Bruno.Porfirio@theposh.com for boys, and Estelle.Handy@theposh.com for girls.
