Peterborough United fans have a chance to meet their football heroes at a special half-term event next week.

Top scorer Jonson Clake-Harris and hot-shot winger David Ajiboye will be signing autographs and posing for selfies at Selco Builders Warehouse on Padholme Road East. The event takes place on Monday (October 23) from 2.30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Ross Turner, branch manager at Selco Peterborough, said: “Selco are proud sponsors of Peterborough United and we have an excellent relationship with the club.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jonson and David to our branch and I’m sure there will be many Posh supporters, young and old, who will be keen to take this opportunity to meet their heroes in person. There’s no need to book – just come along and join the fun.”

Clake-Harris has enjoyed an excellent start to the season for high-flying Peterborough United, with six goals to his name already. Ajiboye is also in red-hot form, with two goals in his last three games, including a stunner in the 2-0 win against Lincoln City last time out.

Selco proudly sponsors Peterborough United’s Goal of the Month competition, which includes goals from the first team, under 21s, under 18s and women’s side, as well as featured messaging on goal announcements at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Alex Harris at Peterborough United, said: “We’ve really enjoyed working with Selco Builders Warehouse so far and we’re pleased to be able to give something back by bringing Jonson and David into the branch. They both love to meet the supporters so they are really looking forward to the afternoon.”

Selco opened its branch on Padholme Road East in February this year, its 75th in the UK, creating 30 jobs in the local area.
