Schools Update

Bobby Copping and Peter Burrow have visited their 100th school of the season.

Despite incredible challenges, Peterborough United duo Bobby Copping and Peter Burrow have chalked up an impressive milestone by visiting their 100th Primary School of the campaign as the adapted Schools Initiative continues to be a success.

Whilst postponements and larger away supports have limited the amount of tickets able to be distributed, the engagement that the duo have had with children across the region has been incredible – they even ventured two miles from Leicester City earlier this week to try and convert the next generation.

Copping said: “It was fantastic to conduct our 100th assembly this week and whether it be in person or on Zoom, the reaction is the same, they love meeting or seeing Peter Burrow and they love finding out more about their local football club and ultimately, that is what it is all about, showcasing the club and what we have to offer.

“We are well on track to surpass our target this season and given the circumstances with Covid-19 and the different environments, we are pleased with the way things are going. If your school has yet to receive a visit from us, do get in touch.”
