Posh continued their pre-season programme with a 1-1 draw at Enterprise National League North side King's Lynn Town.
The first of two pre-season friendlies in 24 hours ended in a 1-1 draw for Peterborough United as Enterprise National League North side King's Lynn provided a physical test for Darren Ferguson's men.
In a game littered with stoppages for fouls and one that featured numerous bookings, Posh came from behind to take something from the contest thanks to a goal made and almost scored by Bradley Ihionvien, with a Lynn defender applying the final touch to send the ball into the back of the net.
Noah Freeman produced a superb goal-line clearance early in proceedings after good work from former Peterborough Sports man Gyasi.
It was GYASI who found the breakthrough on nine minutes as his shot crashed against the inside of the post and rolled into the back of the net.
Cian Hayes fired wide on 20 minutes before Bilokapic did well to keep out Gyasi four minutes later. Oscar Wallin couldn't keep an effort on target at the back post from a Chris Conn-Clarke free-kick before Ihionvien headed wide from another set-piece.
On the stroke of half-time, Posh did level, Ihionvien doing brilliantly to take down a crossfield pass before advancing into the box, his left-foot shot was saved but it was bundled into his own net on the rebound by CLUNAN.
Substitute Adam Marriott should have put the hosts in front, but guided a close-range effort wide before Conn-Clarke struck a free-kick into the wall after a foul on Hayes.
Williams should have put the LInnets in front, but he blazed over on 77 minutes with Bilokapic tipping over a header from McFadden.
Ihionvien nearly had the last laugh, but his acrobatic overhead kick went wide of the target. Posh are next in action on Saturday at Boston United.
