Posh remain unbeaten in pre-season after an excellent performance secured a 0-0 draw with Saudi Pro League side Neom SC at the Banus Football Center.
Peterborough United came up against a top Saudi Pro League side in the hot Spanish sunshine on Friday night and more than held their own, in fact, they were the better side.
Luke Williams' side were at it from the first whistle, causing problems with an aggressive press and creating chances in front of goal as a result with Chris Conn-Clarke a central figure.
The first chance of the game came on 10 minutes as Ben Woods picked out James Dornelly at the back post, but the Academy graduate headed over the crossbar.
Two minutes later, Harley Mills fired a shot over the crossbar from long-range before Posh came even closer, the high press turning the ball over and Harry Leonard picked out Kyrell Lisbie, but his curling shot hit the inside of the post before bouncing to safety.
On 27 minutes, Conn-Clarke picked out Lisbie, who in turn found Leonard, but his shot was cleared off the line by a retreating defender.
Just under 10 minutes from the interval and Neom started to create one or two half chances with Said Benrahma firing into the side-netting and then over the bar with a volley.
Posh changed their entire XI for the second half, but continued to play some good football with Brandon Khela firing wide from 25-yards after winning the ball in the centre circle.
Owura Edwards was next to cause problems, cutting inside and letting fly, only for his shot to take a deflection and go wide. Harrison Jones fired over on 79 minutes and late on Joe Andrews did the same.
Benji McWilliams-Marcano looked lively as a late substitute as he replaced George Nevett with Evan Weir slotting in at centre back.
Posh 1st half: Bass, Dornelly, Okagbue, Mendonca, Mills, Woods, Fox, Abbey, Lisbie, Conn-Clarke, Leonard.
Posh 2nd half: Andeng Ndi, Bushell, Arber, Nevett (sub McWilliams-Marcano 80min), Weir, Khela, Jones, Sykut, Edwards, Andrews, Kamara.
