Sister Club Programme
Our Sister Club Programme builds stronger relationships between Peterborough United Women and Academy and grassroots clubs across the region.
There are two ways to get involved: as a Little Sister Club or a Big Sister Club.
Little Sister Clubs
The Little Sister Club partnership is a friendly, community-based programme open to every grassroots club. It’s about bringing clubs together, building new relationships and creating opportunities to connect and collaborate, on and off the pitch.
What’s included
- Recognition as an official Peterborough United Women and Academy Little Sister Club
- Priority access to selected mascot and matchday opportunities
- Special offers on mascot packages for selected Women’s First Team fixtures
- Invitations to selected club events and activities
- Updates on relevant club news and opportunities
How to join
The Little Sister Club community is coordinated by Jenny Melling, Commercial Manager for Peterborough United Women and Academy.

Big Sister Clubs
The Big Sister Club partnership is for clubs that want a closer football development relationship with the Peterborough United Women’s Academy, and extra opportunities for players with the ability and ambition to progress.
Every Big Sister Club also receives all of the Little Sister Club benefits.
What’s included
- A Peterborough United Women’s Academy coach attending an agreed training session
- First Team or Academy player visits and activations
- The opportunity to recommend players for invitation-only Academy technical sessions
- The opportunity to recommend players to Academy staff for consideration and potential observation
- 10% off for players invited to our Wednesday technical sessions
- Closer communication with the Academy team
Who can apply
As our Academy resources are limited, Big Sister partnerships are available to a small number of clubs through an application process. We’re looking for clubs whose approach and values align with ours, including:
- A clear commitment to developing girls’ football
- A player-first approach
- Open and collaborative communication
- Support for ambitious players to access the right opportunities
- An inclusive approach, including supporting girls to play in mixed teams where appropriate
- Strong safeguarding, welfare and behavioural standards
The Big Sister Club programme is led by Chloe Brown, Girls Academy Manager, with support from Jenny Melling.

Please note
Big Sister status does not guarantee that recommended players will be invited into the Academy or technical sessions. Every decision is based on each player’s suitability and development needs.
Together, we’re strengthening the link between grassroots football, our Academy and the Women’s First Team.
