Keir Perkins

Keir Perkins has committed her future to the Posh Women ahead of the new 2025-2026 FAWNL Division One Midlands campaign.

Perkins is about to start her 11th campaign  with the club and has made a total of 214 appearances in all competitions since joining a fledgling women's team, scoring an incredible 181 goals.

She netted 12 goals in all competitions last term and chalked up seven assists for team-mates as Posh reached the County Cup final and finished third in the league table.

Perkins, who can operate as a central striker or from a wide position, is just 19 away from reaching a huge milestone of 200 goals for the club.

Manager Jake Poole is delighted that Perkins has committed her future once again to Posh. "Keir personifies everything about this football club and we are delighted she continues her time with us.

"She finished last season in great form and we hope her qualities on and off the pitch will continue to shine as we begin the new season."

General Manager Sam Winch said: "We are delighted that Keir has re-signed, she is a true leader and someone that epitomises Posh Women. We can't wait to see her at PIMS Park this season."

Perkins added: "I am really excited about the new season, I am raring to go, I can't wait to get on the pitch and I am looking forward to what is to come.

"I said at the end of last season that every year I have been with the club, we have kept moving forwards as a club, we have kept progressing, we haven't stood still and that is really important and it is the same again this year with our new home back in the city.

"We have made some additions to the squad too and that always brings something new and fresh and the league will be competitive once again, it is down to us to keep improving and try and compete for what we all want, which is promotion."

Keir's home and away shirt is kindly sponsored by the Urban Penguin. There are sponsorship opportunities for the Posh Women - please email sam.winch@theposh.com to find out more details.

Posh are next in action on Sunday with a trip to Oxford City to face Oxford United in a pre-season friendly (2pm).
