David Okagbue

Defender David Okagbue has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad for forthcoming double header.

Peterborough United centre back David Okagbue has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad for the opening two games of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualifiers against Moldova and Andorra.

Ireland travel to Moldova next week where they’ll take on the Moldovans in Nisporeni on Thursday, 4th September before returning home to face Andorra at Tallaght Stadium in their first home game of the campaign on Tuesday, 9th September. 

Okagbue will miss the Sky Bet League One clash with Huddersfield Town and the Vertu Trophy tie with Leyton Orient.
