Young defender Charlie O’Connell is back at Posh after loan spell at high-flying Vanarama National League side.
Young Peterborough United defender Charlie O’Connell has been recalled from his loan spell at Vanarama National League high-flyers Woking and marked his return with a goal in the 5-0 victory for the under 21s at Birmingham City on Tuesday.
O’Connell made seven appearances for the Cards, with his last appearance for the club coming as a substitute in the 3-1 victory at Chesterfield. O’Connell will provide additional competition for the centre backs at Posh between now and the end of the season.
Meanwhile, fellow youngster Aaron Powell is also back at the Weston Homes Stadium after a successful loan spell with Welling. He also featured for the under 21s on Tuesday.
