We are delighted to announce that Next Level Barbell Club have agreed a two-year deal to become the new shirt sponsors of the Peterborough United Women.
Ahead of the 2025-2026 FAWNL Division One Midlands campaign, we are delighted to confirm that Next Level Barbell Club will become the new shirt sponsors for the Peterborough United Women's team.
Next Level Barbell Club have penned a two-year contract and will have their logo emblazed across the front of the new kit, which will be revealed later in the summer.
The Gym, which is based in Yaxley, was opened earlier this year by men's' players Oscar Wallin, James Dornelly and Carl Johnston and co-owners Nathan Willimer and Mark Semmence said:
"We are delighted to be able to support the Posh Women for the next two seasons and are excited about the partnership that has been created. We were thrilled to be able to open a gym in a city that that we love and it is brilliant that we are in a position to give something back to the community in this way."
Posh Women General Manager Sam Winch added: "I am really pleased to welcome Nathan, Mark and the team at Next Level Barbell to Peterborough United Women as our new front of shirt sponsor.
"The deal will see us being supported by Peterborough’s first powerlifting specific venue, offering weightlifting and Olympic lifting. This will give our squad the best possible opportunity to build on their physical performance, whether it be through strength and power development as well as the mental fortitude needed this season.
"There is no doubt that this division is unforgiving, and as such, we need to be on top of our game both on and off the pitch. This partnership will also see us increasing our training sessions to three nights a week, as we gradually head towards an increased training provision."
The Next Level Barbell Club is Peterborough’s first powerlifting specific venue, offering weightlifting and Olympic lifting for beginners through to elite athletes. The city-based company also offers a range of cardio equipment, strength and conditioning coaching and functional training.
