The squad, led by skipper Harrison Burrows, were superbly looked after by Melissa and her team and Posh Commercial Manager Alex Harris said it is another example of a partnership going from strength to strength.

“We were delighted to welcome Nando’s as a Commercial Partner earlier in the season and as part of that deal, they provide the post-match food for the squad after games at the Weston Homes Stadium.

“Melissa and her team invited the squad to have a meal together and the players were obviously delighted to pop down after training to enjoy the famous peri-peri chicken! We would like to thank everyone at Nando’s for their wonderful hospitality.”

Melissa said: “We felt it was a great time to invite the squad down for a meal and it was brilliant to see them enjoying our food. We are really enjoying the partnership between ourselves and the club, it is a partnership that is evolving all of the time and there will continue to many benefits for the clubs supporters and the community as a whole.”
