Jimmy-Jay Morgan was on target as Posh earned a point at local rivals Northampton Town.
Peterborough United picked up another point, this time on the road, as a goal from Jimmy-Jay Morgan earned a 1-1 draw at local rivals Northampton Town in Sky Bet League One action.
Morgan finished well after a superb run and assist from Kyrell Lisbie with both sides creating chances, but the game was lacking in quality for the 90 minutes on a difficult surface at Sixfields.
Goalkeeper Alex Bass made a save inside the opening 60 seconds to deny the lively Jake Evans before skipper Carl Johnston tested goalkeeper Lee Burge with a cross-shot.
Bass did well to keep out a stinging drive from Evans on 25 minutes while at the other end, Brandon Khela sent a rising drive over the crossbar.
On 36 minutes, Burge did well to keep out a volley from Lisbie before keeping out the rebound from Archie Collins from the edge of the box. Two minutes before the break, the Cobblers opened the scoring as EAVES headed home a cross from Fornah.
On 52 minutes, Posh levelled as Lisbie did superbly well down the left and squared for MORGAN who made no mistake, guiding his shot into the corner.
Declan Frith tested Burge moments later before Leonard headed a Collins corner over the top. Forbes fired over from a set-piece on 69 minutes as both sides made changes to freshen their team up.
Bass kept out Evans again on 73 minutes at his near post and then with his body to prevent Taylor from forcing the ball home after a poor defensive pass.
Posh are next in action against Port Vale at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday providing the Valiants don't overcome Bristol City in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening.
