A youthful Under 18s produced an excellent performance in Yorkshire to earn a point against Barnsley.

The Peterborough United Under 18s, featuring a host of Under 16s and an Under 15 produced an excellent display on the road as they secured a 1-1 draw with Barnsley.

Winger Benjamin McWilliams-Marcano (pictured above) was on target for Posh, but a goal in the final third of the contest earned the Tykles a point.

Lead Under 18s Coach Jimmy Unwin said: "It was a good performance and to be honest, we should have come away with all three points. We created a lot of good opportunities against a Barnsley side that were very strong.

"We had quite a few players away with the first team and it was great to see Pat (Sykut) make his debut. A lot of the Under 18s will be involved for the Under 21s on Tuesday."
