Poole confirmed that Ella Bale and Tara Kirk are back in contention after returning from injury. Midfielder Jess Stanford is ineligible due to competition rules having not played a league game prior to last week.
Youngsters Rebecca Mears and Jess Abrantes have impressed in previous rounds of the cup and will be keen to be involved in the final.
From The Gaffer
Speaking to Posh+ ahead of the game, Jake Poole said: “It’s a competition over recent years that both clubs have had success in, and we’d very much like to regain the trophy again after the disappointment the club faced last year.”
“It’s been a really valuable competition for us this year, giving opportunities to players from our academy. It’s been a successful competition for us this year, we’ve had some really good games in it and I have no doubt that the final will be a closely contested game against Northampton.”
