Deeping Rangers

A look ahead to Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly at Deeping Rangers.

Peterborough United continue their pre-season programme with a trip to local non-league side Deeping Rangers on Tuesday evening (7.30pm) and manager Grant McCann is set to utilise his full first team squad over the 24 hours with a trip to Stevenage on Wednesday night.

The Posh boss confirmed that his starting XI at Deeping will feature for an hour before wholesale changes for the remaining half an hour. Those that play half an hour at Deeping are expected to start at the Lamex Stadium.

Posh have no fresh injury worries to contend with from the 3-0 victory over Leyton Orient that took place in Lagos, Portugal. Dan Butler (ankle) and Oliver Norburn (knee) are side-lined but are continuing their rehabilitation from long-term injuries.

“I want to say a big thank you to the Deeping manager Luke Hipwell and everyone at Deeping Rangers for facilitating the game. I think it will be really good for the local community to have a local game like this one and we look forward to seeing plenty of Posh fans there,” Grant McCann said.

It is pay on the gate at the The Haydon Whitham Stadium on Outgang Road, with adult prices set at £7, concessions are £5 and under 18s will be admitted for £1.

There is no stream for this game.

Posh will be in the black third kit for the game.
