The Posh Under 18s begin their FA Youth Cup campaign with a trip to face Mansfield Town Under 18s on Wednesday evening (7pm).
The Peterborough United Under 18s travel to the One Call Stadium to face Mansfield Town Under 18s in the first round of the FA Youth Cup this evening (7pm).
Lead Under 18s Coach Hugh Alban-Jones has a full squad to choose from and is looking forward to the encounter with the young Stags.
"We will be as strong as we can be for the game and it is one we are looking forward too. The FA Youth Cup presents an opportunity for players to play in a stadium environment and for some of them, it will be their first experience of that, or even of playing under floodlights.
"We are fortunate though because quite a few of our players have played up in the Under 21s and will have had those experiences already. Mansfield are a Category Three Academy, but they are a very strong one.
"We will follow the usual pre-match routine, there will be players that have experience of this competition from last year and they will help the younger players through the game."
TICKET PRICES
Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for Under 18s and concessions.
