After a short break without a fixture, Posh are back in action on Good Friday with a trip to Bedfordshire.
Peterborough United return to Sky Bet League One action on Good Friday as they head to Kenilworth Road to face play-off chasing Luton Town (3pm), the first of two tough tests over the Easter weekend.
Ahead of Monday's clash with Cardiff City at the Weston Homes Stadium, Luke Williams' side head to Bedfordshire to face Jack Wilshire's Hatters, who are still very much in the mix to finish inside the top six.
Both teams were without a fixture last weekend due to the international fixtures, with Posh remaining in 12th place, one position behind Luton with a game in hand, albeit five points short.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are expected to welcome back defender Tom Lees, midfielder Ben Woods and striker Harry Leonard from injury, but Carl Johnston, Rio Adebisi, Matt Garbett, Sam Hughes and Donay O'Brien-Brady remain sidelined.
Garbett is expected to be available within '10 days', while Hughes and O'Brien-Brady are expected to feature before the end of the season. David Okagbue, who has played two fixtures over the international break including a lengthy trip to Kazakhstan, will be assessed ahead of the trip.
Luton are without the services of striker Elijah Adebayo after a hip injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season. Shandon Baptiste and Tom Holmes remain sidelined.
ONE TO WATCH
Jordan Clark
Jordan Clark (pictured below) moved south on a free transfer after his contract with League One club Accrington Stanley came to an end after four years at the Wham Stadium in 2020. The right-sided player began his career at hometown club Barnsley, making six appearances in the Championship and enjoying loan spells with Chesterfield, Scunthorpe United and Hyde, before moving to Shrewsbury Town in 2014.
One of the most experienced members of the Hatters squad, Clark can operate in a number of different positions and the 32-year-old has scored 11 goals and created four goals for team-mates in an eye-catching personal campaign.
MANAGER QUOTES
"Luton are a strong side and at Kenilworth Road, it will be a really good atmosphere, the fans are close to the action and it is something we will have to deal with. They have a lot of good players, they will feel they have a good chance of making the top six and there is no doubt our two fixtures over the Easter period are tough tests, but we are excited for the challenge," Luke Williams said.
TICKET NEWS
The game is sold-out for Posh fans with the total allocation of 1,300 tickets snapped up.
