The Posh Under 18s return to the PDL Cup this weekend with a trip to Bedfordshire to face Luton Town on Saturday (11am).
The Peterborough United Under 18s will look to build on their high-scoring victory over AFC Wimbledon on Matchday 1 of the Professional Development Cup when they travel to Luton Town on Saturday morning.
Kurtis Simmons scored a hat-trick in that win over the Dons as Posh ran out 6-3 victors, but it will be a more challenging affair this weekend for Hugh Alban-Jones' side with the 21s in action on Friday evening.
Lead Under 18s Coach Hugh Alban-Jones said: "We had a good start in the competition and we want to try and build on that against Luton. It will be a mix of Under 18s and Under 16s as always.
"Luton won in midweek and won their opening cup game, so it will be a tough test, but we are looking forward too it. The young lads have had a lot of football this week, but that is the nature of the sport, some will travel back from Cardiff and be involved at Luton, but of course, we will assess how they are."
