Peterborough United Women will be looking to add the finishing touch to the week, targeting a third win on the bounce at the Hive on Sunday (2pm).
Peterborough United Women continue their pre-season schedule with a trip to the Hive on Sunday (2pm) to take on the London Bees, before rounding up their programme with Birmingham City Under 21s at home next Sunday.
The fixture with the Bees is the third game of the week, having beaten Derby County and Cambridge United on the club's travels, with Jess Rousseau getting her name on the scoresheet in both fixtures.
Dan McKimm’s side, who compete in the FA Women’s National League South East section, beat Maidenhead United 6-0 in their latest test, hoping to carry the momentum into Sunday.
TEAM NEWS
Goalkeeper Neive Corry remains a doubt due to a shoulder injury but Sophie Harris has performed well between the sticks in the wins at Derby and Cambridge.
A number of players, including Hayley James, picked up injuries in the win over the U's and will be assessed in the build-up to the game.
MANAGER QUOTES
"We have had a positive couple of weeks both in training and in games and we hope to continue that on Sunday. We still have lots to improve and fitness levels and match sharpness will continue to improve and we expect a good challenge from a strong Bees side," Jake Poole said.
