Harry Leonard celebrates scoring against Exeter City

Posh showed battling qualities to come back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the spoils against Exeter City.

It is hard to know what the overriding feeling is after the 3-3 draw with Exeter City. Leading 1-0 at the interval thanks to a goal on his first start from Patryk Sykut, Posh found themselves 3-1 down inside 10 minutes of the second half, but Harry Leonard bagged a brace to earn a point.

Are you disappointed not to win the game after taking the lead? Probably. Are you happy to come back to earn a point after finding yourselves 3-1 down? Yes.

Exeter City certainly showed why they are hard to beat, but in a game that was fairly open from the start, Luke Williams' side can feel frustrated they didn't get all three points.

It was SYKUT who marked his first start with the opening goal and it was a magical moment for the Academy graduate, who won a 50-50, showed some good ability on the ball in a tight area before finding the corner via a slight deflection.

On 24 minutes, Jimmy-Jay Morgan tested Whitworth from long0-range while the visitors came close in stoppage time as Tuteriov fired over. Two minutes into the second half, Exeter levelled through Jayden WAREHAM.

WAREHAM made it 2-1 on 52 minutes and on 54 minutes WAREHAM completed his hat-trick from close-range. On the hour mark, Posh got themselves back into the game as LEONARD headed home a corner kick.

Carl Johnston saw an effort tipped over by the goalkeeper before Wareham fired over at the other end.

Cian Hayes tested Whitworth from range before the equaliser was found as LEONARD found the back of the net after superb work from JJ Morgan.

On 82 minutes, Posh broke at lightening speed with Lisbie squaring for Leonard, but the defender did well to divert it wide for a corner kick. Dornelly fired over before a late effort from Archie Collins cleared the bar.
