Leicester City's King Power Stadium

Posh make the short trip to the King Power Stadium on Saturday to take on Russell Martin's Leicester City (3pm).

Robbie Savage takes charge of his first league game as Peterborough United manager on Saturday as Posh make the trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City in Sky Bet League One action.

Posh go into the game on the back of a 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town Under 21s in the Jersey Mike's Trophy, while the Foxes were beaten 2-1 by Stevenage in the same competition.

Over 3,200 Posh fans will be cheering the side on at the Kings Power Stadium and we would like to thank everyone who is travelling to get behind the football club.

TEAM NEWS

Josh Feeney has been in international action for Scotland Under 21s, but has returned to the Bespoke Builds Training Ground with a knee injury, which will be assessed by the medical team. He is a doubt for Saturday's game.

Tom O'Connor will feature for the Under 21s against Nottingham Forest on Friday evening at the Weston Homes Stadium (7pm), while Sam Hughes and Rio Adebisi continue their rehabilitation from long-term injuries.

David Okagbue and Vernon Masara have also returned to the squad after featuring for the Republic of Ireland Under 21s and Zimbabwe Under 23s.

Conor Chaplin has only featured twice since his move to the Foxes and there is an outside chance he could make the squad for this weekend while recent signing Will Smallbone could also be in contention. Jakub Stolarczyk has an ACL injury and is set to miss the rest of the season. Ben Nelson suffered an ACL in pre-season and is also expected back at the end of the season.

MANAGER QUOTES

"Leicester are a good side and I have no doubts that they will start winning games because they are creating a lot of chances, but we can go there and win. We create a lot of chances. This isn't David v Goliath, this is 11 v 11, this is two sides competing at the same level. We will go there and be positive and play the way that I want my teams to play and we will be backed by a brilliant away support," Robbie Savage said.
