Jimmy Unwin

Academy Director Dan Robinson has paid tribute to Lead Under 18s Coach Jimmy Unwin following his departure from the Football Club.

Unwin, who was the Lead Under 18s Coach, has left the club for a role at Norwich City after three years at the Weston Homes Stadium.

"Jimmy joined us just after I had started my role as Academy Director, and has had three fantastic seasons with us. He worked extremely hard with the players on and off the pitch, raising standards and the progression of the players was there for all to see.

"He leaves the Academy in a really strong position and goes with our best wishes and thanks for all he has done for us here at Peterborough United.

"It is a sign for us as a club, whether it is players or staff who are progressing, that we are being noticed and higher clubs want to take our personnel," Robinson said.

During his time with the club, the Under 18s won the Professional Development League Cup following a win over Sheffield United in May 2025 and also pushed Manchester United all the way in the FA Youth Cup at Old Trafford.
