Brandon Khela is excited by his new challenge and can't wait to get started after penning a long-term contract at Posh.
It felt a bit like transfer deadline day at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground on Tuesday as Brandon Khela followed Sam Hughes in completing a permanent move to Peterborough United.
Khela penned a four-year contract with a one-year option after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City.
The 20-year-old, who helped Bradford City to promotion from Sky Bet League Two after a successful loan spell, is excited for his new chapter after spending over a decade at the Blues.
"It was obviously a big decision to make because I have been at Birmingham City for a long time, but Posh have been looking at me for quite a while and I am excited to be here.
"Speaking with the manager, knowing how the club play and also the age profile of the squad will suit me and I believe this is the right club for me at this time in my career.
"I really enjoyed my loan spell at Bradford and I am grateful for that opportunity, because not only did I get to play regular game time but it was in a side that were successful.
"I am delighted to have my future sorted so early in pre-season, now I can concentrate on getting my head down and working hard in training. Next week will be good at St. George's Park to really get to know everyone," Khela said.
