Girls Academy Head of Physical Performance/Sports Therapist
Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: 2.5 hours Friday evenings, ad-hoc hours on Wednesday evenings and school holidays
Peterborough United Women are currently seeking a Girls Academy Head of Physical Performance/Sports Therapist as part of their Emerging Talent Centre. To ensure that all players within the Peterborough United FC Girls Emerging Talent Centre receive a positive experience, develop as both people and players and support players into the club’s senior teams. This will be achieved through overseeing the physical performance and medical aspects of player performance.
The role will see the chosen individual feed into Centre Manager & Player Development Lead weekly to update on players and staff performance, while ensuring players have access to medical support where required to recover from injury quicker.
The successful individual will need significant experience of working in football as a medical professional and be available to travel to other sites outside of their region (if required). They will also need to hold the relevant badges and qualifications will be needed for this role, including FA DBS check, FA Safeguarding Children Workshop, FA Emergency Aid/ FA, HCPC or SST Registered Physiotherapist or Sport Therapist, Degree in sport therapy or sport rehabilitation.
