Girls Academy Coach
Pay: £13 per hour
Hours: 1.5 hours Friday evenings, ad-hoc hours on Wednesday evenings and school holidays
Peterborough United Women are currently seeking a Girls Academy Coach as part of their Emerging Talent Centre. The appointed individual is to ensure that all players within the designated age groups in the Peterborough United FC ETC receive a positive experience, develop as both people and players and support players to progress onto the next stage of the club’s pathway.
This will ensure the need to plan, deliver and review training sessions and match days, while also maintaining a safe environment for everyone at all times, whether that’s players or staff. The chosen candidate will also have to provide feedback to players via IDPs and collaborate with other staff to develop a progressive learning environment.
The successful individual will have significant experience of working in female football and youth football. Desirable experience of working with talented players and excellent understanding of the girls talent pathway in the country. Relevant badges and certificates will be needed for this role, including FA DBS check, FA Safeguarding Children Workshop, FA Emergency Aid/ FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football, FA Level 2 Coaching Award OR UEFA C.
