THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Academy Manager to lead our Academy Programme. We are rightly proud of the achievements within our academy and this role will require the successful candidate to build on our outstanding levels of player productivity and the holistic support we provide for all young people within our programme.

ROLE SUMMARY

To oversee the continued growth and development of our Academy programme. The role of Academy Manager includes the implementation, measurement and evaluation of all aspects of our Academy Performance Plan; the setting and reviewing of performance targets for all departments, including player and staff development. Another key part of the role is to ensure alignment with all stakeholders, including senior club staff and first team staff.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within a high-performance environment, leading multi-disciplinary staff and preferably within a Category 1 or 2 academy or equivalent. This person must have a forward-thinking approach to holistic, long-term player development and be able demonstrate high skill levels and success.
