Iain Crawford

Director Iain Crawford , who is responsible for the Women's team, introduces the new board who will help move the club forward ahead of the first season in the club's history at Tier 3.

"As discussed in the recent interview with Posh+, we have formed a board to act as the management team of Peterborough United's Women’s department and I am now delighted to be able to share with you all who has agreed to join me in helping push the Posh Women’s team forward.

Dan Robinson – Dan needs no introduction, but I will give him one anyway! As Academy Director he has overseen the football club's move into Category 2 status. I am delighted Dan has agreed to join the board and his knowledge of the Women’s game from his time with the New Zealand Women’s national team as well as his knowledge of all things Academy related make him a key member of the team.

Lisa Weston – Lisa is a long standing sponsor of both the Men’s team and the Women’s team and her support of the Women’s team in recent years has been outstanding both financially as a key sponsor but also as a sounding board for members of the squad. Lisa is the owner of WM Legal and of course brings not only her relationship with the team but also an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all things legal, compliance and regulatory. It’s a pleasure to have Lisa as part of the team.

Shaun Harley – Shaun is the Commercial Director of MOTiQ and the Chairman of the Football vs Cancer charity which recently held its annual charity game at the Weston Homes Stadium. Shaun is someone I have known personally for a number of years now and someone I trust implicitly. Shaun is very well known in local football circles and particularly in Women's and Girls football where he has held various positions and roles including a coaching role within the Girls Academy at one stage. Shaun's experience in the Women's game as well as his Commercial knowledge and contacts will be vital to the team as we aim to grow off the pitch.

Del Meakins – Del has become one of the most recognisable supporters of the Football Club for several years now and in recent times he has also become a massive supporter of the Women's Team as they have risen up through the tiers. I am particularly delighted to have Del on the board as his enthusiasm and sheer desire to always do what's best for the Football Club and the team is seriously infectious. Del will be responsible for Matchdays at PIMS Park and I look forward to seeing what fresh ideas he brings to the Matchday experience.

Meg Lawlor –  Meg is the final member of the board and is a bona fide Posh Women’s legend. Meg only retired after trophy day last season, but I didn’t want to lose her from having a part to play as she was and now thankfully will remain a big part of the Women's set-up. Meg will be the link between the team and the board and we are in the process of making her our first ever Her Game Too ambassador and I personally don’t think there is anyone better placed to carry out that role.

"Along with myself, we will do all we can to support and facilitate for our Women's team and Girls Academy as they continue on this journey of growth and get ready for the challenges of Tier 3. Please welcome them all to the team."
