Peterborough United complete their pre-season friendly programme on Saturday afternoon with Darren Ferguson's men travelling to Blundell Park to face Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby Town (3pm).
It is an opportunity for the rest of the Posh squad to stake a claim for a starting berth for the opening Sky Bet League One clash of the season at Cardiff City.

Defender Rio Adebisi and goalkeeper Will Blackmore are definitely ruled out of the clash. Oscar Wallin, Gustav Lindgren, James Dornelly and Chris Conn-Clarke are expected to feature after not being selected in the squad on duty at Colchester United on Friday evening.

"I wanted to ensure as many players as possible got 90 minutes ahead of the trip to Cardiff City next week and there are still positions up for grabs so the performance at Grimsby Town is really important. It will be a good test for the players," Ferguson said.
