The World Cup might be entering the final fixtures in the group stage of the competition, but all eyes closer to home are on the domestic fixtures for the 2026/27 campaign.
As we prepare for the Sky Bet League One campaign, with the players returning for full pre-season training on 1st July, we are set to find out our fixture schedule for the new season today (Thursday 25th June).
When are the fixtures announced?
Our Sky Bet League One fixtures will be announced at 12pm on Thursday 25th June. The full fixture list will be available both here, on the club website, and across our social media.
When do we find out our opposition in the first round of the Carabao Cup?
The first round draw will take place at 4.30pm on Sky Sports News on Thursday 25th June. We are in the Southern Section of the draw and we are ball number 23. Round one of the competition will be on the weekend of the 7-9th August.
When do we find out which Under 21 side will be added to our EFL Trophy group?
The majority of our group was decided yesterday with Colchester United and Luton Town confirmed as two of our opponents. One of eight Under 21 sides will be added to our group. It will be one of the following; Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brentford, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Ipswich Town or Tottenham Hotspur. The draw takes place at 2.30pm on Thursday 25th June. The first game of the group stage takes place week in early September, with confirmation of the exact dates following the release of the league fixtures.
When does the Sky Bet League One season get underway?
The 2026/27 season will officially start with the Carabao Cup first round. The opening weekend of the league campaign is set for 14-16th August.
