Meerkat Family Stand to be unveiled at pre-season home game on 19th July.

Peterborough-based is pleased to announce a sponsorship deal with Peterborough United Football Club which will see the South Stand at the Weston Homes Stadium rebranded as the Meerkat Family Stand in a nod to the company’s famous advertising characters.

Ready for the 2022/23 season, the new branding for the Meerkat Family Stand, which holds 4,500 spectators, is set to be unveiled at the first home pre-season game on 19th July 2022.

The local firm is taking over the five-year sponsorship from the business’s holding company BGL Group. Launched in 2006, has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s most-loved price comparison websites. The company is passionate about helping people make great financial decisions and save money by comparing prices for insurance, money and utility products.
