Weston Homes Stadium

PUFC has been advised by the SGSA that persistent standing in seated areas is unacceptable, and a breach of the licence given to us at the Weston Homes Stadium.

We wanted to take this opportunity to explain where that leaves us.

The seated areas are certificated on the basis that people sit in them, so when a whole block is on its feet for the full ninety minutes it stops working as it should. Supporters behind have to stand simply to see the pitch, a few end up on the seats themselves, and those who cannot stand at all, and there are more of them than you might think, can spend most of the game looking at the back of somebody's head.

If you want to stand, the London Road End is yours

It has rail seating, with a barrier in front of every row, and it is licensed for standing for the whole match. Tickets are on sale for every home game at theposhtickets.com and through the ticket office. If you are sitting elsewhere but would rather be on your feet, we would love to see you down there.

From the Mansfield fixture onwards, stewards will be asking supporters in the seated areas to take their seats.

Thanks, as always, for your support.
