Peterborough United Women make the trip to face Burnley Women in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup third round on Sunday (1pm).
Peterborough United Women are back in Adobe Women’s FA Cup action this weekend, making the trip to Burnley, with both teams unbeaten and at the top of their respective divisions.
Jake Poole’s team made the third round with a comfortable 4-0 passage over Wallsend BC, and most recently trimmed up a win over Kidderminster Harriers to make it ten unbeaten in the FA Women’s National League Midlands.
The Clarets have had their own share of success this season, though, winning their last six which sees Lou Roberts’ side sitting at the top of the third tier.

"It is a good test for us, something different, someone we wouldn't normally face. When the draw was made, it was interesting because I know the Burnley manager well, she is probably my best friend in football, so it will be fun being in opposite dugouts. They are a very good side, they have scored a lot and not conceded many, we have to be disciplined and then we need to take our chances if and when they come ," Jake Poole said.
