A look ahead to the curtain raiser for the Under 21s as they make the trip to Bristol City on Tuesday afternoon (1.30pm).

The Peterborough United Under 21s travel to the Robins High Performance Centre to take on Bristol City in the opening Professional Development League fixture of the season on Tuesday (1.30pm).

Lead Under 21 Coach Sam Gaughran's squad will feature a number of players that have already tasted first team action this season.

TEAM NEWS

Striker David Kamara is unavailable due to injury, while Pemi Aderoju is out on-loan, so a smattering of first team players will feature against the Robins.

First team manager Darren Ferguson said in the pre-match press conference ahead of his fixture at Accrington Stanley that players 'needed minutes' and he wanted to give other players 'an opportunity' in the Carabao Cup tie.

THE OPPONENTS

The Robins finished eighth in Group B of the Professional Development League last time around with 40 points from their 31 fixtures played. Only one game in the table has taken place so far this season with Swansea City defeating Crewe Alexandra.
