Peterborough United Women will look to make it three wins from three in March when they take on Boldmere St Michaels on Sunday (3pm).

Peterborough United Women have the chance to stretch their unbeaten run to 18 league games this season and 25 overall, a run which spans back over 430 days, when they travel to Boldmere St Michaels on Sunday afternoon.

Jake Poole’s side will look to build on their momentum this season, having picked up 47 points from a possible 51.

Three points were made sure they were added to our total last weekend, as five scorers were on target in an 8-0 win over Stourbridge, with Jess Rousseau getting three of them to take her top of the league’s scoring charts.

We have one over Sunday’s opponents already this season. Lauren Wilshaw and Kira Rai had a hand each in the goals as we made it seven league wins from seven in the National League season.

TEAM NEWS

Courtney Clarke has made good progress in her recovery, but Sunday comes too soon and the midfielder is expected to miss out on the trip to the West Midlands. Jake Poole otherwise has his options open ahead of a huge clash at the top of the table.

MANAGER QUOTES

"[They will provide] a really good tactical challenge. They are a team that plays some really good football and has a clear and distinct playing style. We know when we’re at our best, we are really competitive, and obviously, it’s a game with a lot of meaning in the table as well," Jake Poole said.
