The Posh Under 21s fought back from 3-0 down to earn a point from the Professional Development League fixture at Crewe Alexandra.
The Peterborough United Under 21s found themselves 3-0 down against Crewe Alexandra on Monday afternoon, but two goals from Pemi Aderoju and a last-gasp equaliser from substitute David Kamara earned a 3-3 draw.
Sam Gaughran's side were up against it from the off as the Railwaymen came out of the blocks quickly with the hosts opening the scoring on 24 minutes as Stan DANCEY struck a deflected effort past goalkeeper Bastian Smith.
On 29 minutes, Crewe had the ball in the back of the net again, but the effort was ruled out for offside.
The home side doubled their lead as Luca Moore went on a solo run and picked out Jordan HODKIN who found the back of the net from close-range.
Aderoju saw a close-range effort superbly kept out by Tom Booth before Smith was cautioned for a foul on the edge of the penalty area, although he did well to save the resulting set-piece.
Joe Andrews was denied by Booth on the hour mark before HODKIN made it 3-0 as he raced clear and drilled a low shot into the back of the net. Ayden Thorpe was kept out by Smith on 73 minutes before the fightback began.
ADEROJU collected a pass from substitute David Kamara before drilling a low effort into the corner and the two combined again on 84 minutes, this time Kamara's cross was superbly headed past the keeper by ADEROJU.
In stoppage time, KAMARA was there to get the final touch to an in-swinging corner kick to earn Posh a point.
