The Women entertain Boldmere St Michaels Women at Idverde training ground on Sunday (3pm).

Peterborough United Women welcome Boldmere St Michaels Women in a FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands fixture at Idverde training ground on Sunday afternoon (3pm).

Chloe Brown’s side will be looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat in the week against Lincoln City Women and face another tough task against one of the most experienced sides in the division.

Boldmere St Michaels Women have been permanent members of this division since it was formed in the 2015/16 campaign - previously known as Birmingham & West Midlands until 2020/21 - and were unbeaten this season before falling to defeat against Long Eaton United last weekend.

Team News

Hollie Lewis remains unavailable after she suffered an ankle injury in the opening game of the season, although she has returned to light training but is still a few weeks away from returning to the matchday squad. Piper O'Neill is also unavailable for selection and will spend a few weeks on the side-lines.

Boldmere St Michaels Women have notched 16 goals so far this season, with their centre-forward Annie Highway the leading goalscorer for the club, scoring five goals in six games.

From the Gaffer

“Boldmere is another really tough game, and we can’t go out and play as we did on Wednesday against them. We know we have got the ability to compete against teams like Boldmere, but it’s all about turning up with the right attitude on Sunday.”
