The Schools Initiative gathering pace with over 40 schools now receiving a visit from the Football Club.

We are fast approaching Christmas and Bobby Copping, who delivers the interactive assemblies, and special guest Peter Burrow have visited over 40 schools, engaging with future fans, providing a fun start to the day and handing out FREE tickets to a forthcoming Sky Bet Championship fixture.

Whilst a large proportion of games at the Weston Homes Stadium include a sizeable travelling away support, the club have identified a number of fixtures where supporters occupying the Deskgo Stand are from the Schools Initiative.

Since the last update on the initiative, the duo have travelled across a number of counties visiting schools including Walpole Community School, Alderman Payne, Gladstone Primary, Welbourne Primary, Market Deeping Primary School, Pinchbeck Primary School and many more.

Copping said: “We have made a really good start to the initiative with 40 schools ticked off inside the opening few months and we have plenty more scheduled in. The assembly features a short DVD, plenty of fun and interaction, a visit from Peter and much more and we give every school that we visit tickets so that all of the pupils can attend a match at the Weston Homes Stadium free of charge and that includes one adult too!”
