Three Posh players discuss how fasting during Ramadan affects their training and preparation for match days.

Peterborough United trio Mo Eisa, Siriki Dembele and Idris Kanu sat down with HICTV at the Weston Homes Stadium to discuss their faith and how they prepare for match days during Ramadan.

As part of Ramadan, Muslims fast during daylight hours, making it difficult for footballers to maintain energy levels and in the Premier League there were a number of incidences where the game was stopped to allow players to break their fast during the 90 minutes.

Ramadan this year lasted between Monday 12th April and Wednesday 12th May. All three players scored during that period with Dembele netting against Lincoln City and Kanu and Eisa both finding the back of the net on the final day at Doncaster Rovers.
